TMT Factory is committed to technological innovation and has its own research team lead by Luigi Ceccaroni, a doctor in artificial intelligence, and focused on:

TMT Research aims to explore new technologies to turn them into new services and better products, that will contribute added value to users. Since 2003, TMT Factory has coordinated six research projects with a total budget of 3M€.

TMT Research és la secció de recerca i experimentació en tecnologia web i intel·ligència artificial de TMT Factory, la empresa espanyola darrere d'aplicacions com a Smartpoint, SOPAT, IntegraTV-4all o Abrazo, i que té com a objectiu personalitzar la tecnologia per al benefici públic.

Current research projects:
INREDIS (CENIT) 2007-2011, “Related interfaces between the environment and people with functional diversity”. Objective: development of new technologies to allow communication and interaction between people with some kind of functional diversity and the environment. Financing source: Ministerio de Industria, Turismo y Comercio. Total budget: 24 M€. TMT Factory’ budget: 1,5 M€.
ALIVE (STREP from european FP7) 2008-2010, “Coordination, organisation and model driven approaches for dynamic, flexible, robust software and services engineering”.Objective: to combine coordination and organization mechansims withe driven design model to create new software development tools and services for real systems.Financing source: European Commission. Total budget: 3,8 M€. TMT Factory's budget: 200.000 €.
