ALIVE Technical Meeting 3, Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, January 21-23, 2009

The purpose of the meeting is to check the progress made in the last four months of the project and then focus on the steps needed to clarify before the review, and refining the ALIVE architectural components and their connections issues at coordination and organisational level, and stablish a full picture of architecture and methodology. Also check the status of the three use case scenarios, specially in the modelling.

TMT Factory in the W3C Future of Social Networks Workshop

TMT Factory has submitted a position paper on the W3C Workshop: Future of the Social Networks that will be celebrated the 15th and 16th of January at Barcelona. The TMT Factory’s position paper talks about a new ubiquitous social network scenario over the PaTac platform.

Marc Pous will assist at the workshop, where the main topics on discussion would be: Appropriate Architectures for Social Networking, Deeper and Adaptive User Experiences and Context and Communities. The committee is constituted for researchers from W3C, Yahoo! research, Vodafone, Orange, Carnegie Mellon University, Nokia, FOAF project members among others.
